Recruitment cost reduction

Although recruitment is a vital process in organization, we can work on to reduce the cost on recruitment. We would discuss this in two different categories given below :

1 recruitment cost reduction in a company. 
This can be done in various ways. 
Employee referral is one wich can reduce the hiring cost up to a great extent. This way we not only reduce the cost but also get a verified employee for the organization to work. So we can company can have a trust building in a very short period of time. Now this only happens when the existing employees are satisfied with the companies policy, Pay structure, work environments and fringe benefits. 

Another way is to retain the existing employees, if they are happy with the company norms and bosses & managers behavior, they stick for a longer period of time with the organization, hence need & and chances of recruitment get reduced finally reducing the recruitment cost. 

2 another case & challenges is for the manpower supplying agencies. They too can reduce the recruitment cost without hampering their work process. 
This can be done by having multi skill staffs in their team, posting only relevant post which prevents unnecessary exhausting of posting limits on any job portal. They can also cut down cost in SMS that they use for sending messages to candidates. There are various websites from where free online SMS can be sent for they need to buy any software for bulk SMS. Sending mass mails to only relevant candidates will also contribute a lot. 

Three challenges in recruitment industry need to overcome

There are many challenges which are faced by recruiters these days. These challenges are faced by both kind of recruiters whether they are from any reason recruitment agency or from any company for inhouse recruitment. 

The main three challenges are as mentioned below :
1 no turn up or poor turn ups of scheduled candidates. 
Their can be a numerous reasons for this like not approaching right candidates, not approaching good numbers of candidates ,City transport strike or the day is a holiday on the calender, insufficient job description or company information provided to the candidates and many more reasons. 
So before lining up candidates recruiters need to insure above mentioned points to make the recruiting process a success. 

2 less & very poor numbers of clientele . This is especially for recruitment agencies struggling for getting new clients. 
This will not only bring limited funds & resources to recruitment agencies but will bring demotivation to recruiters.
This may be due improper ways of approaching a client, approaching less clients resulting in less meetings and limited results. This can also be due to lack of marketing of a recruitment agency. 

3 poor database and pool of candidates .
Threre are recruiting agencies which don't much believe in investing much for job portals and various means of attracting candidates like newspaper adds, modern gadgets required for recruitment . Various sources have proved that investment on right job portals and recruiting gadgets  bring success to these agencies.
